You just have to taste it.

My wife and I decided to try this one and only Indian restaurant in Golden, BC. Being East Indian myself, I find myself to be quite picky and critical of Indian restaurants. This place has the most authentic and tastiest Indian dishes we’ve ever had in North America! Try it, you’ll love it!!

I'm pretty sure that was the best mango chicken I've ever had. Service was good, everything was delicious. We'll be back.

I love India cuisine and seeing as how I cant cook it my self (I've tried and the results were....interesting) so I tend to look for India food wherever I go. This place has friendly staff and the selection was pretty good. The only reason I wouldn't give it a five star is that the portion size on a few of the dishes we ordered for take out left a little to be desired, there was two-three smaller pieces of fish and all sauce. While I do love the sauce I ordered it for the fish. The flavors where great and the food was very hot on delivery. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for Indian but I would recommend the buffet over take out just because of the sheer variety available and you can choose what you want to eat.

We are from Vancouver and We went for a trip to banff and Had craving for indian Delicious food and the staff was friendly and professional and they had the beautiful plating. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable and relaxing. Special thanks to girl at the counter as she added the food even the kitchen was closed.Although, specially garlic naan😍.. Unable to find that kind of fresh naan in whole lower mainland... ! Yummy .. Worth for price .. All in All ... Love the food🤩They followed all safety protocols...Thumps up keep going great guys

5 stars does not do justice to how good the Indian food here is. Coming from Toronto with an abundance of Indian restaurants available, this is by far one of the top restaurants in terms of authenticity in taste. The food is a bit on the pricier side but most definitely worth it. Plus the ability to set spice levels of the food is an added bonus. If you're staying in Golden or even just taking a drive by, definitely set some time aside to dine here.

Stopped by between drive from Kelowna to Calgary with low expectations. Food was excellent!

Great beef curry, buttered chicken, garlic naan and rice pilau; excellent service and ambiance. Will definitely return.

One of the worse restaurants I ever visited. If you visit they say you have to reserve if you wanna reserve they say walk in only. Happend with me twice not only once. I would give below 0 if there would be an option. Give wrong order and then argue for beem ourselves wrong. I would recommend any person especially if you are an Indian stay away from them. A big time 0 for customer service. Guy name Rakesh and another girl on floor poor service.

My boyfriend and I are from out of town and and love indian food. This place was suggested to us and it greatly exceeded our expectations. We've been to many indian food reasturants but this one was by far the tastiest, reasonably priced and had great service. P.S. best naan bread I've ever had.

It says its open at 10 but I came 3:30 pm and they told me they don't serve till 4:30 .. its very inconvenience to customers and I'm very disappointed

Great little joint. Butter chicken was perfect, got the mild kind and had just the perfect amount of spice. Usually when you order mild from other places it has barely any spice taste so this was great! Highly recommend if you are craving Indian.

Not happy with service. We drove from Edmonton to Golden. When we reached, receptionist informed to wait for 1.5 hours for dine in and 30 minutes for take out. Need to increase man power to meet demand and defenietly need to respect customers. It took almost 45 minutes just for takeout :(

Not happy at all with the food I had for takeout today. Spent $92 for it but did not expect the food taste I got. Worst indian food I tried in BC. Travelled all the way from edmonton, tired and out of energy wanted to have something good for dinner but my night got ruined. Just hope they make their food a little more authentic so it tastes the way it is supposed to be.

The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is that we ordered a mild dish for the kids and it was more medium; too spicy for them. Super close to the main street, so it won't add time to your trip. Very large menu, diverse selection for everyone. The food was so flavourful! The Veggie Korma was the favourite. Will make this a regular stop on our road trips.

Excellent food, not the cheapest. Mango lassi’s were small and rice is always a separate order. But everything was delicious and facility was clean.

Got delicious take out. Portion size was adequate and pricing was pretty good- ~$80 for 4 people. Mild was definitely mild (if you've ever had Indian food). The only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 star was because we ordered early and asked to pick up at a specific time, but when we arrived we still waited 20 mins. Certainly worth the wait but it was slightly inconvenient.

Hubby and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch after visiting Banff. Gorgeous setting, with glass windows that show off the mountain view. The food was delicious. We had the samosas for an appetizer, which had a homemade, golden crispy crust. I ordered Paneer Makhani, which was rich and tomatoey with chunks of homemade cheese. Hubby had Chicken Tikka, cooked in a tandoor and served with lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. You do have to order your rice separately! The naan bread was yummmmmmmy. We had water, which was cool but served without ice (we Texans are used to ice). The server was friendly, but extremely mellow, never seemed to be in a hurry. Being a waiter probably isn't suited to his personality. If you're in a big hurry, you might want to adjust your expectations. But, he was a nice guy. The bathroom was clean and fresh. I thought the price was reasonable considering the quality of the food.

Chilli cheese (paneer ) was like 6 pieces of paneer in tomato sauce 💔

Bad customer service, very arrogant. Food was satisfactory, when asked for medium spice, made it very very spicy (chicken tikka masala).

Bbq meats aside from chicken and fish are a lil salty. The fish was delicious

A decent Indian restaurant at this remote location is great. Great food with great view! The food quality was good but then I think the price is a bit on the higher end for a small serving. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits or stays in Golden.The only reason the rating is okay because of their service. I wasn't so happy with that.

We needed a water refill, but beyond that we were over the moon with Indian Kitchen in Golden, and delighted to hear that they have another location in our hometown! The food was absolutely delicious 😋

I am so annoyed that I am already giving a review without tasting the food.. lady at the counter named Ravi was super rude when I asked her how much more should I wait to pick up my food that I ordered about 45 minutes ago.. no courtesy to ask us to sit as we waited there for about 25 mins for our food.. you guys should not take orders if you cannot fulfill on time or atleast provide a decent customer service..

Have tried A LOT of Indian cuisine all the way from England (Who are known for good Indian food) to Eastern Canada to Western Canada and honestly this was some of the BEST we have ever had! We come to Golden quite often and will definitely be making this a stop for now on.

I got "India's spiciest dish" and it hurt just right.

We always go to this place on our way out of Calgary or coming back. The Indian food is very Tasty. We had the samosa the butter chicken it was delicious. This time on our way back had the vegetarian Bhendi Masala and Roti which reminded me of home just loved it. Their Dal is also very nice. The staff is very friendly and nice.

We stopped here on our way to Calgary from Kelowna. This is by far the best Indian food I have had in Canada at a restaurant. Highly recommend stopping by if you are passing through Golden.

We were in Golden for a few nights this past weekend and ordered takeout from Indian Kitchen. Excellent food, tasty and decent portions. I recommend it.

I had the best indian food here, and one of my best meals here. The food was great. It coldn't be better. The manager was very nice, he gave us the best indian butter and herb bread and two bottles of water for free. I definitely go back to this place any time I am in Golden.

Ordered delivery and it was amazing!!! Delivery was fast and delivery driver was so friendly. Food was so delicious! So excited for our next Indian kitchen night.

Food was ok, but the server is the worst. I never seen server being this bad. It was young girl who dont know how to smile and talk to people. Don’t recommend this to anyone.

I have been in all corners of this planet, I have never ever had such amazing food as this place. It is now a official stop for me when I pass threw. Golden BC has a special little secret and it is this amazing little restaurant. I would 100% recommend this establishment to anyone that wants to enjoy great Indian cuisine.
